Strategic Narrative Requires Karmic Balance

The strongest skill a human can have is not the ability to sell, the ability to politic, or the ability to garner public attention. 

The ability to tell a story is. When most people think of strategy in narrative, they think drama or conflict. They don’t think within the terms of analysis-execution. As much failure, as much as possible. You have to burn out the algorithm before it burns you. 

Product placement is a granular macro vector. Strategic Narrative is the macro. It is not branding fugazi. The key to telling a story in any sense is to provide the listener or reader with emotional intensity and alignment. 

What this does is provide a sense of relatability between the “product” and “purchaser”. 


How to Kineticize the Execution


You must reject the “Vendor Frame”. The moment you adjust your campaign as a sales push and replace it with a “Movement”. You begin to transcend the inherent commoditization that the Market places upon everyone. 

Trends come and go. People's opinions change every 4 years en masse. When operators talk about the importance of Scale. most do not yet know the true meaning behind the word. 

Scale isn’t shooting fish in a barrel. It is not volume for the sake of volume. The meta of today’s media landscape rejects blind shots. The algorithm has been long tired of them. 


Pulling the Trigger


Going back to the terms of analysis-execution, analysis directs 90% of the outcome behind each execution. Lincoln knew this, but the availability and access provided by today's technology has rendered half-aimed trigger pulls null.

The secret isn’t even hounding on trends or micro platform data. It’s knowing who your specific target audiences are. And I’m not talking about ideas, I mean real technologically applicable data on who you are selling to and how to target them.

Wide industries are inherently vague. But macro behavior in a purchasing sense is not.

There are no secrets, but knowing who you’re aiming at before you shoot is real close.
